History

BOUTIQUE TOQUADE inc. is to owners, Caroline and Martin, the realization of a long-time cherished dream. Both interior design specialists, their passion for fine furnishings and decor has grown into a love affair (toquade in French, hence the company’s name), a driving need to share their passion and satisfy their customers’ needs. With this in mind, the Boutique Toquade was created in December 2000.

Winner of the “best retail business” award in the Concours québécois en entrepreneurship in 2000, the year of its founding, BOUTIQUE TOQUADE made the most of this recognition to expand its sales and visibility.

Starting with 800 sq. ft. of floor space, BOUTIQUE TOQUADE was forced to to upgrade to over 8,000 sq. ft. a mere two years later. The new site was able to support increasing customer demand and allow the company to offer many different services, including personalized consulting, standard or customized projects for individuals, large-scale projects and projects in the hotel industry, to name but a few!

While striving to offer the best service possible, Caroline and Martin are always on the lookout for new and exclusive products as well as rare seldom-found treasures. In addition to high quality standards and a wide range of tones and wood species, they follow a simple selection process: products must be of excellent quality, durability and made primarily in Canada!

Over the years and now more than ever, BOUTIQUE TOQUADE has surrounded itself with a trustworthy team of flooring specialists, cabinet makers, sewing experts, upholsterers, iron workers, painters, entrepreneurs and shippers. Last, but certainly not least, BOUTIQUE TOQUADE has built partnerships with businesses in similar fields in order to offer its customers the most comprehensive decoration service in Quebec!
